Thanks to the collaboration with the Departments of Management and Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and the Research Center for Psychology of Communication at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, the Experience Design Academy has launched AXD (Advanced Experience Design): a Politecnico di Milano laboratory aimed at studying and creating applicable, tangible innovation at the intersection of disciplinary domains that place people at the center.
This experimental space is equipped with advanced tools and technologies that integrate various skills, from virtual modeling and prototyping to parameterization and biometric evaluation, with the goal of designing a user experience that is both conscious and informed by qualitative and quantitative data approaches.
By combining expertise in UX design, 3D modeling, computer science, marketing, and applied neuroscience, AXD designs, develops, and tests solutions capable of transforming everyday experiences.
Advanced
It is demonstrated through the application of cutting-edge methodologies and technologies in diverse and frontier fields such as autism, automotive, digital and non-digital services, and complex systems.
Experience
It focuses on the depth of user interaction, with particular attention to usability, inclusivity, and sustainability.
Design
It combines applied research with design and continuous process iteration to refine and enhance the methods used.
